Checking Your SEO Using the SEO Preview

Did you know that you can check how your content should look when it appears in Google, Facebook, and Twitter?

The SEO Preview feature in All in One SEO shows this and much more!

To get started, log into your site as an Administrator and visit any post, page or or content.

Opening the SEO Preview

To launch the SEO Preview, click on SEO in the Admin Bar at the top of the page and then click on SEO Preview.

This will open the SEO Preview popup where you’ll see tabs for Google, Facebook, Twitter, and SEO Inspector.

Checking the Preview for Google

The first tab in the SEO Preview is for Google. This shows how this post may look in Google search results.

You can edit your snippet for Google by clicking on the Edit Snippet button. You can click on phone and desktop icons to see the preview on each type of device.

Checking the Preview for Facebook

The second tab in the SEO Preview is for Facebook. This shows how this post may look when shared on Facebook.

You can edit your Facebook information by clicking on the Edit Facebook Meta Data button.

Checking the Preview for Twitter

The third tab in the SEO Preview is for X (Twitter). This shows how this post may look when shared on X.

You can edit your X information by clicking on the Edit X Meta Data button.

Checking Your SEO in the SEO Inspector

The SEO Inspector tab shows all of the SEO and social meta data that appear in the source code of your post that’s output by All in One SEO.

Here you can also see your Focus Keyphrase if you’ve set one, and the TruSEO Checks that have passed or failed.

To change anything or see which checks have failed, click on the Edit Post button.

This feature was added in All in One SEO version 4.2.8. There's no legacy documentation available.
