[New] Managing Broken Links Has Just Become Easier

We’ve got an exciting update for all you hard-working site owners and SEO professionals!

If you’re familiar with broken links, you know how they can wreak havoc on your site’s user experience and search engine rankings.

That’s why we’ve updated Broken Link Checker to make it the ultimate broken link management solution. Here are 3 of the most significant improvements we know you’ll appreciate:

Unified URL UI Improvements

First, we’ve overhauled how URLs are displayed in our Broken Link Checker. Instead of cluttered rows of the same URL following each other, we’ve cleaned up the interface by using a nested table view.

Clicking on the View ‘X’ Posts link expands the table, allowing you to see all instances in which that link has been used and the anchor text.

The new unified URL UI groups duplicate URLs, creating a more organized and user-friendly interface. You can still use inline actions within the table, allowing you to immediately address those pesky broken links.

Hunting down broken links can be frustrating, time-consuming, and laborious.

Not anymore!

Our brand-new Broken Links Highlighter is about to change the game.

With a simple toggle, you can now enable this nifty feature that underlines broken links in a bold, unmissable red color right on your site’s frontend.

Don’t worry. The highlighting is only visible to logged-in users with post-editing permissions.

This ensures a seamless experience for your visitors while making it easier to identify broken links.

Redirects Integration

We know how frustrating it can be to manage your site’s SEO using multiple tools. That’s why we’ve integrated our powerful Add Redirect feature into the Broken Link Checker.

Add Redirect action button.

With just a click of the Add Redirect action, you can set up a new redirect (if AIOSEO is active).

The Source URL field is pre-populated, making the redirection process a breeze. No more copy-pasting URLs or switching between tools! We’ve got you covered with a streamlined, all-in-one solution.

Redirecting your broken links will improve your user experience (UX) and boost your SEO. You can also monitor all your redirects in the Redirects column.
