Account Questions

What is your policy on refunds?

If you're not completely satisfied with All in One SEO Pro within 14 days, you can request a refund and we'll give you 100% of your money back – no questions asked.

Unfortunately we can't issue refunds outside of the 14-day period.

To request a refund, please contact us here https://aioseo.com/contact/ and follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Complete a Form button under I have a basic question.
  2. Select Account or Subscription question under What can we help you with.
  3. Select I'd like a refund under What would you like help with in your account.
Can I get an invoice for my payment?

Customers can download a PDF invoice from the Billing tab of the Account area here – https://aioseo.com/account/.

Click the Generate Invoice link and complete the form to generate your PDF invoice.

I don’t see my purchase information in the Account area

If you don't see your purchase information then please contact us here https://aioseo.com/contact/ and we can help you.

How do I change my payment information?

If you purchased using a credit card:

You can change your credit card on the Billing tab of the Account area on our site here – https://aioseo.com/account/. This will then be used for future payments

If you purchased using PayPal:

You can change your payment source within your PayPal account by following these steps:

  1. Log into your PayPal account
  2. Go to Settings (click the gear icon in the top right corner) and then go to Payments
  3. Click on Automatic payments.
  4. Locate your pre-approved payment for “Semper Plugins” in the left sidebar and click it
  5. Click Change Payment Method to change your payment information and then click Save

PayPal will now use the updated payment details for future payments.

NOTE: It's not possible to switch payment methods between PayPal and credit card due to restrictions with these payment processors.

I can’t log in to my account

If you're having problems logging into our site then click on the Forget your password link on our Log In page here – https://aioseo.com/login/

Enter the email address that you used for your purchase and click the Reset Password button. 

You'll receive an email with a link to set a new password. 

Please make sure to check your spam folder and mark these emails as not spam.

I haven’t received my receipt or login details

Usually the email receipt and login information email is sent the moment your payment is approved, which should be almost immediately. It'll go to the email address that you entered during checkout.

Please make sure to check your spam folder and mark these emails as not spam.

You can also access your receipt, license key and download link on the Downloads tab of the Account area on our site here – https://aioseo.com/account/.

Can I cancel my account?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time by following these instructions:

  1. Log into your account on our site here – https://aioseo.com/account/
  2. Click on the Billing tab
  3. Click the Cancel link next to the subscription you want to cancel in the Subscriptions table
  4. Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.
Can I upgrade / downgrade my subscription?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time by going to the Downloads tab of the Account area on our site here – https://aioseo.com/account/.

Click the Upgrade link and then select the plan you want to switch to and complete the checkout process.

Can I purchase more than one plan?

Yes, you can purchase multiple plans.

To do this, log into our site here – https://aioseo.com/login/. Then go to the Pricing page here – https://aioseo.com/pricing/.

Select the plan you want and complete the checkout.

If I cancel my subscription, will I lose my data (rankings and traffic)?

No. Your SEO data and settings are saved in your WordPress database so you won't lose anything.

However, you won't receive updates for the All in One SEO Pro plugin or be able to access the premium features.

License Questions

How many sites can I install All in One SEO Pro on?

The number of sites depends on the plan you purchased.

If you're seeing a notice that states you've reached the maximum activations for your license and you believe this is wrong, then please contact us here – https://aioseo.com/contact/.

Do staging, test, or development sites count towards my licenses?

We don't count staging, test, or development sites towards your license activations.

However, please note that our License Manager is looking for specific site names such as “dev.mysite.com”, staging.mysite.com”, or “test.mysite.com”.

We also look for names used by major hosting providers that provide a staging feature for their customers.

If you find that your staging, test, or development site is showing up in your license activations then it could be that you're using a site name we're not checking for.

How do I renew my license?

Will the plugin work without a license key?

Yes, the plugin works without a license key, although it's not recommended.

You won't have access to the settings for the premium features, addons or be able to update the plugin when we release new versions.

How long will I receive support and updates for?

You'll receive support and updates for as long as you maintain your subscription. 

If you cancel your subscription or it expires, you'll no longer be able to access premium features, update the plugin or receive support.

Pre Purchase Questions

How does your pricing work?

All in One SEO Pro is sold under an annual recurring license. The recurring subscription is automatically charged each year to your credit card or your PayPal account.

If we're running a sale or promotion then that price will apply to the first year only.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept both credit card and PayPal payments.

How do I upgrade to All in One SEO Pro?

If you're running the free version of All in One SEO and you want to upgrade to All in One SEO Pro then please purchase one of our plans on our Pricing page here – https://aioseo.com/pricing/.

Once you've purchased a plan for All in One SEO Pro, please follow the instructions to download and install the Pro plugin here – https://aioseo.com/docs/installing-all-in-one-seo-pro/

All of your settings and SEO meta data will automatically be present in the Pro plugin.

Do you provide support?

Yes. If you have a current subscription for All in One SEO Pro then you can get support by contacting us here – https://aioseo.com/contact/.

Do you provide phone or chat support?

At this time we don't provide support via phone or chat.

What's included in my purchase of All in One SEO Pro?

You get access to the following for as long as you maintain your subscription:

  • Premium Features – Access to the premium features based on the plan you purchased.
  • Plugin Updates – Updates to the plugin when we release them.
  • Premium Support – Access to support which is available Monday to Friday during US East Coast business hours only.
Will my data be lost if I convert from the free version to the Pro version?

No. All of your SEO data and settings will be preserved when you switch from the free version to All in One SEO Pro.

This happens automatically and you don't need to do anything.

I have the free version, can I just buy support?

No. Support is only available to customers with a current subscription for All in One SEO Pro.

Do you offer special pricing for nonprofits and charities?

We're pleased to offer special pricing for nonprofit and charity organizations.

Can I purchase a custom plan with specific features and site activations?

Unfortunately, we don't currently sell custom plans based on features or site activations.

If you want to use a specific feature in a plan, then you can choose that specific license level.

Can I import my posts and terms metadata, and SEO settings from other SEO plugins?

Yes, we have an importer where you can easily import your settings and SEO metadata from other SEO plugins.

Can I buy a lifetime or monthly license?

We currently only support annual payments for our licenses. We don't have lifetime or monthly plans available.

How is AIOSEO better than other SEO plugins?

Do you charge tax or VAT?

Yes, if you live in a country that requires us to charge sales tax or VAT, then these wil be added to the price of the plugin and shown on the Checkout screen and in your email receipt.

Do your prices include sales tax or VAT?

No, all prices shown on our website are excluding any sales tax or VAT that's charged under your country's tax laws.

Who should use AIOSEO?

All in One SEO is perfect for business owners, bloggers, designers, developers, photographers, and basically everyone else.

If you want to optimize your WordPress site for search engines and social media, then you need to use All in One SEO.

What is the difference between the free version of All in One SEO and All in One SEO Pro?

The license for All in One SEO Pro provides you with access to the following benefits:

What's required to use AIOSEO?

All in One SEO is a WordPress Plugin. In order to use All in One SEO, you must have a self-hosted WordPress site or site on WordPress.com with a WordPress.com Business Plan (https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/business-plan/).

Do I need coding skills to use AIOSEO?

Absolutely not. You can optimize your WordPress site without any coding knowledge.

All in One SEO is the most beginner friendly WordPress SEO plugin.

Will All in One SEO slow down my website?

Absolutely not. All in One SEO is carefully built with performance in mind.

We have developed everything with best practices and modern standards to ensure things run smoothly and fast.

Does All in One SEO work on non-WordPress sites?

No. All in One SEO is a WordPress SEO plugin, so it will NOT work on sites that do not use WordPress.

Does All in One SEO work on a WordPress.com site?

Yes, All in One SEO works with WordPress.com. 

Please be aware that only Business Plan (https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/business-plan/) users are able to install custom plugins on WordPress.com.

Can I use All in One SEO on client sites?

Yes, you can use All in One SEO on client sites in two ways.

Either you can purchase an appropriate plan that covers all your client sites or purchase a plan for each client site.

You can also refer your clients to purchase directly from our site using your affiliate link to earn a 20% commission.

Is All in One SEO translation ready?

Yes, All in One SEO has full translation and localization support.

All in One SEO has been translated into over 50 languages so far with many more on the way.

Is All in One SEO compliant with GDPR?

Yes, All in One SEO is 100% compliant with GDPR. Specifically, All in One SEO does not collect any personal data covered in the GDPR regulation.

Is the free version of All in One SEO required for All in One SEO Pro to work?

It's not necessary to deactivate or uninstall the free version of All in One SEO when you install the All in One SEO Pro plugin. You can keep it activated if you want or deactivate and delete it.

When you activate the All in One SEO Pro plugin, all of your settings and SEO data will automatically transfer over from the free version and be present in All in One SEO Pro.

Which multilingual plugins are compatible with AIOSEO?
